Formerly known as the Hard Rock Park, the Freestyle Music Park is a fascinating place to visit while vacationing at Myrtle Beach. This music-themed park is never too crowded, allowing ample space to explore, experience and enjoy. It is built on 55 acres, situated between Highway 501 and the Intra-coastal Highway. Freestyle Music Park has many concert-quality speakers mounted in strategic positions throughout the park, allowing patrons to absorb music as they tour the unique parklands.

Freestyle Music Park pays homage the numerous popular music genres, including pop, beach music (appropriately!), disco, alternative, rock ‘n' roll, country, reggae, R&B, and Christian-influenced.

In addition to the music-based features, Freestyle Music Park contains several rides and shows. Many of the rides are named after popular songs such as the Steve Miller Band’s “Fly Like an Eagle” and Tom Cochrane’s “Life is a Highway”. There is also a ride called “The Time Machine” that plays songs from the 1960s through to the present. The main show playing at this park is connected with the hit television series “CSI”. Another popular show is “Adrenaline Rush”, where skateboarding, rollerblading and cycling stunts are performed.
