Located at the southernmost end of the leeward coast of Cozumel, Nachi-cocom Beach is a study in contrasts, and the definition of a great day (or week) at the beach for couples families, singles and just about everyone.
With clean, ivory colored sand, it’s a respite and a riot, with all sorts of things to do in an atmosphere of relaxation.
Situated near the Punta Sur Lighthouse, the lake known as Laguna Colombia and the Mayan ruins of Tumba del Coracol, Nachi-Cocom Beach is protected by the barrier of the Palancar Reef and the thickly thatched beach umbrellas that shade
the beach lounge chairs all along the sand. There are plenty of places to explore when sunning and swimming has served you well for the day.
Nachi-Cocom Beach is a wonderful venue for water sports, including kayaking, snorkeling, parasailing and diving; wave runners are available for rent and are a real blast on the warm surf of the Gulf of Mexico waters. All manner of small craft
come and go at the beach pier, making for a colorful display.
The Nachi-Comco Beach Club restaurant has a swim-up bar and serves fresh local lobster tails. Take a walk on the pier out into the ocean or stroll the beach at sunset, basking in the heat of the late day sun. As the day falls to rest and the
family activity subsides on the beach, Nachi-Comco Beach becomes a romantic spot for couples, young and old, to refresh their romance.
